The Lambda Sigma chapter turned 23 years old on December 7th of 2009! In celebration of this special day, the Vice President of Alumni Relations teamed up with an alumni Irene Demopoulos Texeira to coordinate a bowling event that took place at the Concourse Bowling Alley.
The event started at 7:30pm and did not end until 12:30AM. Knowing that many alumni and collegians are dedicatedLA Laker’s fans, we picked the perfect time and location because the wide screens projectors left little opportunity for anyone to miss a second of the game! Those who did not want to bowl, still came out to socialize and enjoy a few drinks by the bar. Gold and purple colored frosting cupcakes spelled the Greek letters “Lambda Sigma” and “Delta Sigma Pi” were provided for all attendees to eat.
